Dynamite Acro Studio Information and Policies 2023-2024

Important Fees to Note: 

Registration Fee:
A yearly fee of $15/student will be charged for Registration of all programs. Registration Fees are due at the time of registration to secure your spot. ALL REGISTRATION FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE!

Costume Fees: 

Recreational Classes – $40-$50 - due in January

Pre-Comp & Performance Team - $100-$150 - due November 1st

ALL COSTUMES FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE IF COSTUMES HAVE ALREADY BEEN ORDERED!

Competition Fees: 

Pre-Competitive & Performance Team – All of these students will attend competitions. Competition season is typically March-May. Competitions are Mandatory and Participation is expected! If you do not want to do competitions, you can choose Recreational for your acrobat. Competition fees are not included in monthly fees. Competition fees will be announced once the studio has determined which competitions they are attending. ALL COMPETITION FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE!

Late Fees: 

A $10 late fee is applied to all fees past the due date. Late Fees will be applied on 00:01 (Midnight) 5 days after the fees are due.  ALL LATE FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE!

Make-Up Lesson: 

If a student requires a make-up lesson the fee is $30 for a 30 min lesson. 

Picture Fee: 

We will get pictures taken of each class. $30 per class. Solo’s, Duet’s, Trio’s do not pay this to the studio they pay this directly to the photographer.

Monthly Tuition: 

Sessional Classes: Class fees are due before the 1st day of classes. ALL FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE

Sept – May Classes: Tuition is due by the 1st of each month. Fees are based on the number of classes throughout the entire season as opposed to each month. This allows for the variation of days in the month. Fees will remain the same each month. 

***NOTE – There is a $10 Late fee on charges that are overdue after the deadline.


Payments: 

We accept E-Transfer, and Cash. Preferred method of payment is e-transfer. When sending an e-transfer please put the students name in the message so it can be applied to the correct account. You can send e-transfers to Admin@dynamiteacro.ca 

E-Transfers that were sent in error will be charged a $5.00 Administrative Fee for Return


Types of Programs: 

See Classes page for all of the details on our different programs. We have types of classes for all commitment levels. We Have Sessional Classes, Exam Classes, Specialty Classes, Recreational Classes, Pre-Competitive Classes, Performance Team Classes, and Private Lessons available. 


Year-End Recital (Show and Tell):

All Recreational, Pre-Competitive, and Performance Team Classes will perform in the year-end Recital (or Show and Tell) in May. It is part of the class commitment for the season. This recital is to celebrate all our students, and see the growth and confidence in their new found skills from the season. It will be a very relaxed performance with some fun things happening in the middle of the performances. Solo/Duo/and Trios may also be asked to be part of the Recital. Please plan to attend and invite family and friends to celebrate with us! 


Schedules: 

Sessional Classes: Classes that do not meet the minimum number of students required may be combined or cancelled. 

September – May Classes: A draft schedule will be sent out but will be subject to change pending enrollment. The schedule for class times and days will be out in August after classes are finalized. Classes that do not meet the minimum number of students required may be combined or cancelled.


Withdrawal from Classes: 

Notification of class withdrawal must be received by email to the studio before the 1st of the month or start of classes (sessionals). The only fee that can be refunded is Monthly Tuition if you have paid in advance. Tuition Fees will not be refunded if the month has already started and you withdraw from classes.  


Non-Refundable Fees: 

The following fees are ALL Non-Refundable. Sessional Fees, Registration Fees, Late Fees, Costume Fees (after they have been purchased), Competition Fees, and Exam Fees.


Water Bottles: 

Please ensure that the student brings a labelled water bottle to class. We Do NOT have a fountain but have a sink that we can fill up. Students will need water so please remember each week. 


Communication: 

For faster communication, we communicate as much as possible through email. Please ensure that we always have a current email address and phone number on file. You can update your account information at anytime in your Parent Login. If you unsubscribe from emails, please note we are not responsible for missed information. Class Cancellations: 

Classes cancelled due to studio obligations such as workshops, exams, competitions, or special rehearsals will not be rescheduled. Cancellations due to weather or instructor illness will be rescheduled. Notifications of weather cancellations will be emailed, posted on the website, and the facebook page. 


Medical Information: 

It is Very Important to inform the director of your child’s existing medical conditions at the time of registration and update this information throughout the season. The more we know about your child the better the experience for all involved. All information about our students is confidential.


Media & Liability Release:

You will agree when creating an account to have a media release as well as liability release. You will also need to sign these release forms in person before or on the 1st day of classes. If you have a special circumstance and cannot sign a media release please inform us in writing and we will make sure to have it on your account. 


Parking: 

Please Do Not Block the middle of the street even just to let your child out of the car. Please pay attention to “No Parking” signs and Do Not Block the driveway as well as vehicles in the lot on the southeast corner. The lot is available for parking however parking should be done on the street whenever possible.


Personal Belongings: 

We recommend that students do not bring cell phones and other valuables to the studio. Dynamite Acro Studio is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.


Damages: 

Damages caused by accidental, negligent, or wrongful acts are at your own expense. Students/Parents assume responsibility for any studio damages during normal class time, private lessons, private rehearsals, etc. 


Concerns: 

All concerns should be directed to the Director (Tammy) in an open and productive manner. Please bring these concerns up outside of class time. The Director reserves the right to remove any student temporarily or permanently. The Director has final authority on all matters.
